I already have a website. Can you rebuild it?
Absolutely — most of our clients come to us with an existing site that’s outdated, hard to update, or just isn’t helping them sell horses. We’ll migrate what’s worth keeping and build you a fresh site on a modern WordPress foundation designed specifically for horse marketing. You won’t lose any momentum.
I’m not very tech-savvy. Will I be able to update my own site?
That’s exactly who we build for. We set up professional templates so that adding a new foal or updating a horse for sale is as close to fill-in-the-blank as we can make it. We’ll walk you through it on a video call, and your monthly care plan includes support time for when you get stuck. You don’t need to know anything about websites — that’s our job.
What’s the monthly care plan and why is it required?
Your care plan covers hosting, security, software updates, site maintenance, and monthly support time for content tweaks and questions. Modern websites have a lot of moving parts under the hood and they need regular attention to stay fast, secure, and working properly. We handle all of that so you never have to think about it. It also includes a full site design refresh every three years to keep your site looking current and competitive — that alone is significant value most agencies charge separately for.
How long does it take to get my site live?
For Level 1 and Level 2 sites, most clients are live within 2–3 weeks after we receive your content — photos, horse information, and any text you want on the site. We build the site structure and design while you’re gathering that material, so we’re working in parallel. Level 3 sites are custom builds with a timeline we’ll discuss during your consultation.
What if I don’t have good photos of my horses?
Good photos make a real difference in what buyers are willing to pay attention to — and what they’re willing to pay. We offer professional photo editing as an add-on to clean up what you have, and Johnna is also available to come to your place and photograph your horses for you. Either way, every plan includes automatic photo optimization so your images load fast without losing quality.
Do I have to write all the text for my site myself?
You know your horses and your program better than anyone, so we’ll need some basics from you — your story, your breeding philosophy, your horse details. But if sitting down at the computer to write it all out isn’t your thing, our Content Writing add-on means we’ll handle the copywriting and horse listing updates for you. You talk, we write.
What’s the difference between the three levels?
It comes down to how many types of horses you need to feature and how complex your operation is. Level 1 is built around selling horses — perfect if you have a small string of colts to move each year. Level 2 adds stallion pages and tells your breeding program’s story to reach buyers nationally. Level 3 is for established programs that need broodmare showcases, reference sire sections, and separate areas for different ranch enterprises like cattle or guest ranching. Every level builds on the one below it, so you never lose features as you move up.
I’m not a breeder. Can you still build my site?
Absolutely. Our packages are built around breeders because that’s the bulk of who we work with, but the same structure works beautifully for trainers, stallion stations, sale barns, equine therapy programs, farriers, and just about any other horse-related business. The breeder-specific features listed in each tier are examples of what we build — not the only things we build. Get in touch and tell us what you do. We’ll figure out which plan fits your business and customize it from there.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Yes. Because every site is built on the same WordPress foundation with Custom Post Types, upgrading means adding to what you already have — not starting over. If your operation grows or you decide to stand a stallion, we can expand your site to match.
Do you work with all breeds?
Yes. We work with quarter horse, paint, thoroughbred, draft, and every other breed out there. The site structure and marketing principles are the same regardless of breed — what changes is your story, your branding, and your buyers, and we tailor everything to fit.
What if I’m not sure which plan is right for me?
Just email us or use the contact form. We’ll ask a few questions about your operation, your horses, and your goals, and help you pick the right fit. No pressure and no sales pitch — we’d rather put you in the right plan than upsell you on something you don’t need.
